The Local Government of Calaca held a four-day training seminar for Registry System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (RSBSA). The training done simultaneously throughout the province aims to have electronic compilation of information on farmers, farm laborers and fishermen who are target beneficiaries of agriculture-related programs and services in the locality. President Benigno S. Aquino III chaired this project.
The Dept. of Budget and Management (DBM) acted as the lead agency for the project while the DILG, DA, DAR, and NSO or Local Civil Registrar on LGU level serve as the cooperating agencies to develop and implement the training for the 4th level. This was participated by 40 Barangay Chairmen, 40 Barangay Secretaries and 53 identified/hired Field Interviewers (FI’s). Mrs. Nieva E. Maningat (MLGOO), Mrs. Ma. Cristina De Los Reyes (LCRO), Mrs. Rafaela Christy V. Balitostos (AT) served as Resource Speakers and training facilitators. They will also act as supervisors during the entire registration activity. Meanwhile, Mr. Luisito M. Manalo (MPDC) is the overall chairman of the project in the municipality. Mrs. Mayeth Manalo, the Assistant Registration Area Supervisor ( ARAS) also facilitated the training.
Involvement in the RSBSA undertaking requires a deep sense of dedication among the Field Interviewers, Barangay Secretaries and supervisors tasked to implement the registration operation. Hence, all trained personnel are motivated to perform their respective jobs faithfully to ensure the success of the projectwhich is expected to be completed by November 2012.
