Assists and advises the Municipal Mayor on matters concerning examination, investigation, appointment, promotions of local government personnel. Prepares payroll of all employees of the LGU coordinates with the Civil Service Commission on the conduct of seminar in behalf of civil servants.
The Civil Registrar shall be responsible for the civil registration program in the local government unit concerned, pursuant to the Civil Registry Law, the Civil Code and other pertinent laws, rules and regulations issued to implement them.
Formulates measures for the consideration of the Sanggunian and provides technical assistance and support to the Mayor, in carrying out measures to ensure the delivery of the basic services and provision of adequate facilities and which require general services expertise and technical support services.
Takes charge of office on public information.
