Blessing is such a simple thing to those whose is pure and true to HIM. CALACA is so lucky to have our Honorable Sofronio C. Ona, Jr. whose intention is to serve people.
One result of his pure objectives was, last August 28,2008 an Overseas Filipino Worker from Carson, California,MS FLORYTENORIO MUTUC, a native of So. Lampasan, Barangay Calantas of this municipality, donated various imported medicines for those who sufferedfrom hypertentions, diabetis, allergy and some antiobiotics. Medical equipment like hammer and tape measure were also given. Mayor Nas Ona and his wife, Dr. Marjolyne Sharon V. Ona(Mun. Health officer) were so thankful for such extension of kindness.
Presently, Ms. Mutuc is working at New Life Medical Service at 235 West Carson St, Carson, California with Dr. Manuel Aguillera an Internal Cardiologist (Batangueno) who fortunately owned clinic in the siad state.
Dr. Aguillera had glimpsed over Calaca’scorner in the internet throght its official website, www.calaca.gov.ph and the municipality’s accomplishment, vision and mission touched his heart. It convinced the Cardiologist to allow Ms. Mutuc to donate medicines to our town, for the third time.
