RHU Calaca’s performance in medical services for its constituents has been known. It even reached and captured the interest of the Regional Health Office which persuades the Center for Health Development IV-A head, Dir. Gerardo V. Bayugo, MD, MPH, CESO III to donate medicines for the Municipal Health Office amounting to Php20,113.34 last July 22, 2008. He was overwhelmed by the success of Blood Donation Program of the municipality as well as the untiring support and initiative of Mayor Sofronio C. Ona, Jr. to the said program.

It is indeed a great help to the locality availing the medical consultation because there are more free medicines ready for allocation.

With this support, the Local Government Unit headed by Mayor Sofronio C. Ona, Jr, Vice-Mayor Lordilando DM. Atienza, and Sangguniang Bayan Members extends their grateful appreciation for all those behind medicine donation.
