MAYOR NAS ONA AND RHU CALACA, REGIONAL SANDUGO AWARDEES!

Truly, good governance and better services done by Honorable Mayor Sofronio C. Ona, Jr. and Rural Health Unit of Calaca headed by the very innovative Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Marjolyne Sharon Ona and her staff for the welfare of the people really pay off. This was proven after being both awardees in different categories on the Annual Regional Sandugo Awards held at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, last July 22.

MAYOR ONA RECEIVED MORAL ADVOCACY AWARD

Last June 14, 2008, Mayor NAS ONA received a Plaque of Appreciation given by God Bless Batangas (GBB), a Ministerial Association, Province wide and Calaca Ministerial fellowship (CMF), a group of Pastors who are so much involve in uplifting the moral and spiritual values the people.

DIFFERENTLY ABLED BROTHERS AND SISTERS … at HEARTS

Calaca have been so blessed especially this time that ONA-ATIENZA Administration had tied up with NORFIL Foundation, a non government organization whose main concern is for the welfare of disabled persons since last 2006. In collaboration of the present Administration and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) to associate the differently able citizens in obtaining their equal rights with able bodied persons, Community Based Rehabilitation Program (CBR) was conducted taking emphasis on the engagement of their family and community in the rehabilitation process.
