Muli na namang nagpakitang gilas ang mga kapulisan ng Bayan
ng Calaca sa pamumuno ni PCI Raymund Gary R. Mayuga sa pagsugpo sa paglaganap
ng ipinagbabawal na gamot at pag-aresto sa mga taong pinaghahanap ng batas.
Noong ika-12 ng Nobyembre 2009, ganap na ika-1:00 ng hapon,
sa kalye Marasigan, Barangay Poblacion 3 ay nadakip si Gavino Castromero y
Villaranda alyas Benny, 43 taong gulang, may asawa, walang hanap-buhay at
naninirahan sa Barangay Poblacion 4 sa kasong paglabag sa Batas Pambansa Blg. 6
(illegal possession of deadly weapon). Nahaharap din ang mga suspek sa kasong
pag-iingat ng ipinagbabawal na gamot (shabu) o paglabag sa section 11 ng
Republic Act 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act of 2002).
